Grow Report - Future #1
On this page you can find a report of what we are growing in our shop. Currently we are growing the Future #1 from Anesia Seeds. Amsterdam Seed Center is one of the few places in Amsterdam which you can actually visit to see and smell cannabis growing. This is our Strain of the Shop and we offer this strain with a generous discount.
There are now some cannabis strains that regularly reach THC levels of 30% and more. Nevertheless, among the large number of different varieties of different seed banks, these strains are comparatively rare. Some varieties of the Anesia Seedbank are among the strongest cannabis strains worldwide. Our latest breed, Future # 1, showed a massive and incredible 37% THC-level in repeated lab tests. Some of you will think, that can not be and we thought so too. Why breed a strain that is so strong? We want to be honest, it has become a certain sports for us and we wanted to see how far we can come and what is possible. It has cost us a lot of work and a lot of effort but the result even astonishes us.
Growtent Setup

- Growing: 150w LED light "Jackson" from Grow the Jungle
- Flowering: 250w HPS light
Week 12: abrubt early harvest..
Due to an error in our lighting system, the light went on for 15 minutes during the dark period, causing the plants to reveg. So we had to do an early harvest and we will start a new grow journal!
Week 11: Flowering steady..
The Future #1 from Anesia Seeds now in week 11 of the grow.
Measuring in at 76 cm , they have maxed out their stretching at this point. Only fattening up and thicker buds from this point forward.
We found a crazy POLYPLOID mutation in the tent on one plant. A polyploid is a natural mutation in nature in which a cells get extra sets of chromosomes. This results in a different looking plant than usual. "Sideways" bud-growth. Looks cool, but this mutation will not necessarily increase yields or give a better end-product...

Water dosage is about 1200 ml per plant per week
Week 9: Flowering steady..
The Future #1 from Anesia Seeds now in week 9 of the grow and the plants are about 70 cm tall.
The tent is filled to the brim, maybe even a bit overcrowded.. But we will manage to make the best out of it.
A lot of pistils growing in this stage. You can see the structure of the buds starting to form
Decided not to put another net/trellis because the got some thick stems!

Week 7: Time for flowering
The Future #1 from Anesia Seeds has grown quite a bit again since we topped her.
Now in week 7 of the grow the plants are about 52 cm tall.
The net spread out the new growing shoots which will give us much more budsights than before training and topping.
The side branches are fully filling the tent making for a nice even canopy.
Thinking about putting up another net to train the plants even more while they stretch in flowering.
Water dosage is about 1000 ml per plant per week
Week 6: Growing through the net
The Future #1 from Anesia Seeds has recovered well from topping in week 4.
Now in week 6 of the grow the plants have nearly doubled in size.
The plants are growing through the net in the way we like to see it.
The side branches are now part of the canopy.
The potential budsights are already visible.
We might put up another net to train the plants a bit more into flowering.
Flowering will be probably next week.
Water dosage is about 750 ml per plant per week
Week 4: Growing steady!
The Future #1 from Anesia Seeds is growing very well.
Now in week 4 of the grow and we just topped the plants.
The side branches are growing longer.
Soon we will put up a net and start training these ladies.

Week 3: Growing steady!
The future #1 from Anesia Seeds has grown to about 10 cm height.
The first true leaves are grown and the seedlings are steadily working on the next pair.
Little shoots on the internodes started growing as well. Nice sidebranching!
Couple of weeks more before we top these plants..

Week 2: First leaves!
The Future #1 from Anesia Seeds has grown to about 5 cm height in the first two weeks.
Working in the first true leaves now!
They are growing under the LED grow light Jackson 150 watt from Grow The Jungle.

Week 1: Germination
Just sprouted from cannabis seeds. Welcome Future #1!
For our germination we use a method that we always recommend: Water germination. It's really easy. More information on how to germinate here, but it's basically just 4 simple steps:
- Soak your seeds in water
- Watch for the taproot
- Plant your seed in a medium
- Happy growing!
Our seeds took about 24-48 hours to go from germination to the pictures below.
