On this page you can find a report of what we are growing in our shop. Currently we are growing the Kmintz from Ripper Seeds. Amsterdam Seed Center is one of the few places in Amsterdam which you can actually visit to see and smell cannabis growing. This is our Strain of the Shop and we offer this strain with a generous discount.
KmintZ is a fusion of Zkittlez x Kush Mint, this strain enhances the Zkittlez effect while addressing flower weight concerns. Ripper Seeds crafted a masterpiece, offering autumn-hued, compact flowers bursting with color and flavor.

Week 18-19 Update: Kmintz Harvest Time is here...!!!!
Appearance:
As we reach weeks 18-19 of the grow cycle, the plants are truly a sight to behold. They're fully developed with vibrant colors, showcasing a diverse array of hues. The foliage is lush, and the buds are dense and resinous, promising a bountiful harvest.
Smell:
The aroma emanating from the plants is nothing short of sensational. It's a delightful blend of sweet, sour, minty, and fresh notes that captivate the senses. The enticing fragrance fills the air, creating an inviting atmosphere that hints at the flavors to come.
Grow Phase:
Throughout the grow phase, these plants have exceeded expectations. Their vigorous growth and robust development have culminated in this moment of harvest. While we anticipate a medium to high yield from this tent, it's the strain's exceptional flavor and experience that truly stand out.
Harvest:
With harvest time upon us, we're excited to see the culmination of our efforts. The plants have reached their peak, and we're eager to sample the fruits of our labor. After the harvest, the buds will undergo drying and curing processes to ensure optimal flavor and potency.
Week 16 Update: KMintz Harvest Countdown!
Appearance:
In Week 16, the KMintz plants are stunning, displaying fully developed purple-hued calyxes adorned with glistening trichomes. The buds are turning purple, and even the side nuggets are beautifully colored and fully frosted.
Smell:
The aroma is absolutely amazing, with sweet, sour, minty, and fresh notes that are captivating and in your face. The whole shop reeks of the delightful scent of KMintz plants.
Grow Phase:
With lots of pistils turning brown or disappearing, and leaves also showing purple hues, the plants are reaching their peak. The trichome coverage and overall appearance indicate readiness for harvest.
Harvest:
We are set to harvest within one week, eagerly anticipating the culmination of this exceptional cultivation journey with the KMintz strain. Stay tuned for the final results!
Kmintz Week 14: Progressing beautifully!
In week 14, the KMintz plants are thriving. The calyx development has significantly accelerated, leading to the formation of dense and thickening buds. These buds are starting to take on their characteristic shape, with hints of light purple hues beginning to emerge.
Grow Phase:
In this phase, the KMintz plants are progressing beautifully. The accelerated calyx development is a promising indication of robust flower production. The plants are healthy and robust, showcasing strong resilience and vitality as they approach maturity.
Expectations:
As we enter the final weeks of growth, expectations are high for the KMintz strain. The strong and distinctive aromas emanating from the plants indicate potent terpene profiles. We anticipate a bountiful harvest of aromatic, resinous buds that embody the unique qualities of this exceptional strain.

Kmintz Week 12: Calyx Developments!!
In week 12, Kmintz plants exhibit a healthy appearance with noticeable signs of growth. Despite a slight stretch, they maintain their vitality, and numerous pistils are visible. These indicators suggest robust calyx development, promising thick and resinous buds in the near future.
Grow Phase:
Entering the twelfth week, Kmintz is progressing smoothly through its growth cycle. The plants are thriving, showing resilience and vigor. As calyx development begins, we anticipate further maturation of the buds, with increased resin production and potency.
Expectations:
With the onset of calyx development and the abundance of pistils, our expectations for Kmintz remain high. We anticipate dense and flavorful buds, characteristic of this strain. While there is still some time to go before harvest, the plants are on track to deliver a bountiful yield of high-quality cannabis.
Kmintz Week 10: More and more pistils!
In Week 10 of the KMintz grow, the canopy remains nice and even, with full, vibrant plants boasting lush green foliage. The plants have developed well, maintaining a healthy appearance with no signs of stress.
Grow Phase:
With many more pistils now visible, it's clear that flowering has kicked into the next phase. The plants are transitioning smoothly, showing robust signs of entering the crucial flowering stage. The growth continues to be steady and promising.
Expectations:
As the plants reach a height of about 75-80 cm, we eagerly anticipate what the upcoming weeks will bring. We expect to see an increase in pistil production as flowering progresses further. Soon, the calyxes will start filling up the buds, marking the onset of bud development and resin production. We remain optimistic about the continued health and vigor of the plants as they advance through this critical stage of growth.
Kmintz Week 8: Good Recovery after Topping!
In week 8, the KMintz plants are looking great. They've bounced back well after topping and now have a nice, full canopy. The leaves are a lush green, and everything looks evenly spread out. They're about 60-65 cm tall, which is just right for this stage.
Grow Phase:
We're now in the flowering phase! This means we're starting to see the first signs of flowers, called pistils. It's an exciting time because it means the plants are getting ready to produce buds. They've transitioned smoothly from growing leaves to making flowers.
Expectations:
Looking forward, we're hopeful for a good harvest. With the flowering stage underway, we're expecting the plants to focus more on making buds and less on growing taller. The canopy looks healthy and even, which is a good sign. We're excited to see how the buds develop in the coming weeks and hope for a fruitful harvest.
Kmintz Week 6: KMintz Canopy Development
In the sixth week, KMintz plants are robust at 40-45 cm, after being topped last week. The side branches are growing vigorously, contributing to a lush, green outlook. A net/trellis has been added to aid canopy development. And it's working..
Grow Phase
The topping and placing the net proved effective, promoting lateral growth. Side branches are thriving, enhancing canopy density. The plants are healthy, and they're showing their readiness for flowering. The clock has been switched to 12/12!
Expectations
With optimal plant height and lateral growth, expectations are high for the flowering phase. The even canopy will ensure a good light distribution throughout all of the bud sites(to be). The green and healthy appearance suggests a smooth transition into flowering.
Kmintz Week 4: Flourishing Foliage!
In the fourth week of the Kmintz grow, the plants stand sturdy and are looking good. As the next phase unfolds, we can see these young plants showing robust growth and great vitality.
Appearance:
With big, healthy, and vibrant green leaves, the plants show their good health. Rapid growth brings them to 15-20 cm at time of writing, creating a small but impressive visual display.
Grow Phase:
Now fully in the vegetative phase, the Kmintz plants are working on their 8th-9th node. Side branches are developing good, promising a bushy and well-developed canopy.
Expectations:
As the plants rapidly advance through the vegetative stage, expectations soar. We expect a further height increase, dense foliage, and a vibrant green spectacle coming up soon. We will be topping the plants somewhere in the next 2 weeks.
Kmintz Week 3: From seedling to Vegetative phase
In week 3, the KMintz grow is doing very well. Now standing at 10-14 cm, the seedlings have evolved into robust plants.
Appearance:
At this stage, all plants boast lush greenery, with no signs of stress. As they focus on the 5th node, side branches emerge, promising a healthy and vibrant canopy.
Grow Phase:
Transitioning from seedlings, the plants are now robust and entering the vigorous vegetative phase. Rapid growth is anticipated as they work on developing a strong and bushy structure.
Expectations:
With every leaf vibrant and the first side branches making their debut, expectations are high for a the coming vegetative phase. All signs point to a successful grow.
Kmintz Week 2: Going steady, standing sturdy!
Entering the second week of our KmintZ grow, the seedlings are super healthy and vibrant, reaching a height of 4-5 cm. The delicate green shoots are now working on their second set of true leaves.
Grow Characteristics:
These seedlings are displaying early signs of a bright future. As they continue to unfold, our anticipation grows for the characteristics that will define the mature plants.
Expectations:
With every passing day, our excitement builds for the journey ahead. The KmintZ seedlings are on track, and their overall health and vigor indicate their roots have sufficiently developed. They will soon be transplanted to a bigger container.
